I did not get my sign-in code

Find a missing sign-in code, and what to do when Music24 refuses the code or says there were too many attempts.

Music24 has no passwords. When you sign in or create an account, we email you a 6-digit code. The code works for 15 minutes.

If the email did not arrive

Check the address on the Check your inbox screen. If it is wrong, click Change email and enter it again.
Look in your spam, junk and promotions folders, and search your mailbox for Music24.
Still nothing after a minute? Click Resend code next to Didn't get it?
If you use an Apple Hide My Email address, check in your Apple ID settings that Apple still forwards mail to your inbox.

A new code cancels the old one. Always use the code from the newest email.

If the code is refused

The code ran out. A code works for 15 minutes. Ask for a new one.
The code was typed wrong 5 times. After that it stops working. Ask for a new one.
You used an older code. Only the code from the newest email works.

In the iPhone and Android apps you see That code is wrong or has expired. Ask for a new one. In the browser you see Something went wrong. Please try again, and if the problem persists, contact [email protected].

Too many attempts

To keep accounts safe, we limit how often anyone can ask for a code and check one:

5 new codes an hour for one email address. Resend code counts as a new code.
10 code checks in 15 minutes for one email address.
10 code requests in 15 minutes, and 20 an hour, from one network.

In the apps you see Too many tries. Wait a minute and try again. The browser shows the general error above. Wait 15 minutes, ask for one new code and use it. If it still fails, wait one hour. A shared office or school network reaches the network limit sooner.

Disposable email addresses

We do not send codes to addresses from disposable email services. The sign-in screen says Use a permanent email address. We do not accept disposable addresses. Use an address you keep.
