I cannot invite or join a team

What each team message means, for the owner who invites and for the person who joins.

Only the workspace owner can invite people, in Settings → Team → Invite a teammate. Every person and every open invite takes one seat.

If you invite

• Your plan has no free seats. Upgrade to invite more people. The owner takes one seat. Free has 1 seat, Artist 1, Manager 3 and Label 10.
• Every seat is in use. Remove a member or cancel an invite to free one. An invite nobody accepted still holds its seat until you cancel it or it expires.
• This person is already in the team. They have a seat already. Nothing to do.
• Only the workspace owner can do this. You are a member of this workspace. Ask the owner to send the invite.
• The invite email did not arrive? Ask the person to check spam. Invite links work for 7 days.

If you join

• This invite was used, cancelled or has expired. Ask for a new one. Invite links last 7 days and work once. The owner sends a new one from Settings → Team.
• This invite is for a different email address. Sign in with the invited email. Sign out, then sign in with the address the invite went to.
• The workspace is full. Ask the owner to free a seat or upgrade, then open the same link again.
• You are already in the workspace. Open it from the workspace switcher.

If you cannot leave

• The owner cannot leave the team. The workspace belongs to the owner. The owner can remove members instead.
• This is your own workspace. You cannot leave it. You can leave only workspaces you were invited to. If you joined the team before Music24 had workspaces, the team workspace is still your home workspace, and this message shows there too. Ask the owner to remove you: you then get a workspace of your own.
