What deletion removes and what it keeps
Deleting your account removes your sign-in, pages, artists and connected accounts at once. A few records stay, without your email address.
Checked on Oct 1, 2026
Deletion runs at once, in one step. This is exactly what goes and what stays. To delete your account, see Delete your account.
Removed at once
- Your sign-in. We erase your email address and end every session on every device. Your Apple and Google sign-ins are unlinked, and we revoke the Apple sign-in token.
- Tokens. Every API token and every AI client (MCP) access is revoked.
- Your web plan. A plan bought on the web is cancelled with Stripe, so nothing more is charged. On the Stripe customer record, we replace your name and email address and remove your phone number and addresses.
- SmartLinks and pre-saves. Every page with its versions, blocks and social links. Pre-save campaigns and the fans who signed up for them.
- Pre-save fans. The streaming access your fans gave for a pre-save is deleted, unless another artist on Music24 still needs it for a pre-save of their own.
- Artists. Your artists, their profiles, trackers and Catalog.
- Connected accounts. The stored Spotify for Artists, Deezer for Creators and YouTube sign-ins and every day of numbers read with them. Promote channels with their tokens, campaigns and posts. We also ask Google, Meta and TikTok to revoke the Promote tokens, as Disconnect does.
- Team. Members of your workspace lose access to it and keep a workspace of their own. Open invites are cancelled. You leave every workspace you joined.
- Settings. Your notification settings, share links and unused email codes.
- Deleted copies. Our database keeps a copy of a deleted row. We delete those copies of your data too.
Kept
- Purchase and plan records. Tax rules need them. We replace the email address on them, on the App Store and Google Play receipts too. The privacy policy keeps transaction records for 7 years. Stripe keeps the invoices of your web payments, under the replaced name and email address.
- A trial record. We keep a one-way hash of your email and of your Apple or Google sign-in, never the values. It only stops a second free trial.
- An empty user record. It holds no email address and no settings. Other records point at it, so it stays.
- Follows. The list of public artists, tracks and playlists your workspace followed stays on the erased workspace, with no email address.
- Uploaded files, for a short time. We delete the records of your artwork, photos and clips at once. A background job then deletes the stored files and retries when the storage fails. To check that they are gone, email [email protected].
- Support messages. Messages you sent from Support in the apps hold no email address and stay. Emails you sent to support stay in our mailbox; the privacy policy keeps support messages for 3 years.
- App Store and Google Play subscriptions. They keep running until you cancel them in the store.
- Music24 in your Google, Meta or TikTok account. We delete the tokens and ask the platform to revoke them. If the platform does not answer, it may still list Music24 as a connected app. Remove it in that account if you like.
Want a copy of your data before you delete, or something removed that is listed as kept? Email [email protected] from the address of your account.
Questions
Does Music24 keep my email address after I delete my account?
No. We replace it with a random address that points nowhere. Only a one-way hash stays in the trial record, so the address cannot get a second free trial.
Do my SmartLinks keep working after I delete my account?
No. Your SmartLink and pre-save pages are deleted at once, so their links stop working.
What happens to my team when I delete my account?
Each member keeps their sign-in and a workspace of their own. They lose access to your artists, pages and campaigns, because those are deleted.
