Rename a workspace (owner)
- Open the workspace, then Settings → Team.
- In Workspace name, type the new name. It can have up to 80 characters.
- Select Save.
Members see the name in their workspace menu, on the invite page and in the subject of workspace emails. Only the owner can rename a workspace.
Save an empty name to go back to the default name: the name of the first artist in the workspace, or the owner email when there is no artist yet.
Switch to another workspace
- In the browser: open the artist menu at the top of the sidebar and pick a workspace under Workspaces. On a phone screen, use the account sheet.
- In the iPhone and Android apps: open Settings from your avatar and pick a workspace at the top.
- Anywhere: Settings → Team → Your workspaces, then Switch. Open now marks the workspace you are in.
- As a member: Settings → Subscription has a Switch to button for your own workspace, where you manage your own plan.
Music24 opens Home in the workspace you picked, with its artists, follows and plan. The next time you sign in, it opens the workspace you used last.
When a switch does not work
- "We could not open" and the workspace name: the request failed. Select Try again.
- "You are no longer a member of" and the workspace name: you left it, or the owner removed you. Music24 takes you back to your own workspace. Ask the owner for a new invite to return. See Leave a workspace or remove a member.
Questions
Why can I not see a workspace menu?
The menu shows only when you belong to two or more workspaces. Accept an invite to a team, and it appears.
Can a member rename the workspace?
No. Only the owner can. A member sees the name and the owner email in Settings → Team.
