Page addresses, platform domains and custom domains

How a SmartLink address is built, how to change it without breaking shared links, and how to use your own domain.

Checked on Oct 1, 2026

A page address has two parts: your artist address and the name of the page. For example yourname.music24.link/your-release. Your profile page lives at yourname.music24.link.

Your artist address

  1. Open Promote → Smartlinks and click Edit Profile.
  2. Type the new address under Page address. It takes letters, numbers and dashes.
  3. Click Save profile. When live pages move with it, the button reads Save and move pages.

Addresses are first come, first served. If one is Taken by another artist, Music24 suggests one that is free. When you change it, every live page moves to the new address, and the old address sends visitors on to the new one. QR codes and posts you already shared keep working.

Platform domains

Your pages answer on four domains: music24.link (the default), fym.fm, music.ht and music.mq. All of them open the same page. The Domain you pick in your profile decides which one Music24 puts in the links, QR codes and embeds it gives you. A single page can pick its own domain next to its address in the editor.

The address of one page

You set the page name when you create the page. To change it later, choose More actions → Change address, edit it, and publish the page again. The old address of a published page sends visitors on to the new one, unless another of your pages takes it over. See Publish, share and embed a page.

A custom domain

Manager and Label, and the trial, can put their pages on a domain they own. Our team sets it up for you: email [email protected] with the domain and your artist name. Your profile shows the domain under Custom domain once it works.

On a plan without custom domains, your own domain stops showing your pages. They stay live on the platform domains. Upgrade again and the domain works again.

Ready-made track links

Any track in Music24 has a ready-made SmartLink at link.music24.com. Open the track and click Copy SmartLink. You do not build or publish it, and it does not count toward your published pages.

Questions

Will my old links break if I change my address?

No. The old artist address sends visitors on to the new one, and so does the old address of a published page.

Can I use my own domain for SmartLinks?

Yes, on Manager and Label, and during the trial. Email [email protected] and we set it up for you. There is no self-service setup.
