Catalog: claim your releases
Catalog lists the releases you can promote. Claim what is yours, add a release by link, or add a track that is not out yet.
Open Your intelligence → Catalog. It lists every release Music24 lets you promote with SmartLinks, pre-saves and campaigns. Claiming tells Music24 which releases are yours. It does not change the release or the service, and you need no service account for it.
Claim a release
- Click Claim a release.
- Under Find it in our catalog, search by track or artist name and pick the release.
- Choose whether it is your own release, or I am a featured artist. A featured release stays promotable, but it never reads as your own single.
- Click This is mine. The release joins your catalog at once.
Possibly yours suggests releases that match your profiles or your artist name. Claim one there with one click.
If the release is not in the search
- I couldn't find my track opens Add a release, for a release that is out but that our catalog does not know yet.
- Paste one link to the release and click Find the release. We read the title, the cover and the other services from it, and you check the result. No link at hand? Click Fill it in myself.
Add a track that is not out yet
Click Add unreleased track, or Add pre-release in the claim dialog. Fill in the title, the type (single, EP or album), and the release date and cover art if you have them. Click Add to catalog. It shows as "Added by you" until it lands on a service, and you can build a pre-save page for it now.
Your catalog list
The chips All, Claimed, Unreleased and No smartlink filter the list. The search field finds a release by name.
The menu on each row offers This is my own release, I am only a featured artist, Check the service links, and Un-claim this release or Remove from the catalog.
A removed release stops showing when you build a SmartLink. Every page you already built from it stays online, and you can claim it again at any time.
Service connections
The Service connections cards sit at the top of Catalog. You need none of them to build SmartLinks. A connection adds confirmed ownership, real listener numbers and pre-save delivery on that service.
Add profile URL on a card saves your public artist page on that service. We read only what anyone can see: your public releases, so claiming is one tap, and your follower count once a day. Saving it also adds the profile to your bio link. Clear the field to remove it.
Questions
Do I need a Spotify for Artists account to claim a release?
No. Claiming needs no service account. A connected portal adds your real streams and listeners in Insights.
Does un-claiming a release take my SmartLink offline?
No. Pages you already built stay online.
Can I promote a track before it is released?
Yes. Add it as an unreleased track. When it is out on the services, claim it and the links come with it.
